Last fall, Mario Lopez attended The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation’s, 26th Annual ‘A Time for Heroes’ Family Festival in Los Angeles.

The Emmy Award winning actor and humanitarian supported the charity by becoming one of its “Celebrity Heroes,” along with Rachel Bilson (Hart of Dixie), Gilles Marini (Devious Maids), Mark Paul Gosselaar (Truth Be Told), James Van Der Beek (Friends With Better Lives), Hannah Simone (New Girl), Danica McKellar (Young Justice), Robbie Amell (The Flash), Justin Baldoni (Jane the Virgin) and Jaime Pressly (Mom).

The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing pediatric HIV infection and eliminating pediatric AIDS through research, advocacy, and prevention, care, and treatment programs. Founded in 1988, EGPAF supports programs in 14 countries around the world and has raised more than $35 million since its inception.

Lopez is also a supporter of AIDS Walk Los Angeles.
