British born actress and humanitarian Sophie Turner is using the red carpet to bring awareness to “green dressing.”

When Sophie Turner arrived at the Oscars, she wore a spectacular pair of Tiffany & Co. ‘Soleste’ earrings with a diamond necklace, Christian Louboutin “Gwynitta” glitter open-toed silver sandals,
and an elegant pastel mint ribbed crepe dress, with hidden corset with boning. The gown – designed by British fashion house “Galvan,” was purposefully selected by the “Game of Thrones” star because it was made of sustainable fabric and supported “Red Carpet Green Dress,” a cause she is passionate about.

Red Carpet Green Dress was founded in 2009, by former model and actress Suzy Amis-Cameron. Both Amis-Cameron and her husband, director James Cameron (Titanic and Avatar) are staunch environmental activists. Amis-Cameron’s mission for the brand is to create, “A sustainable fashion campaign that showcases fashion that is both glamorous and sustainable, while raising awareness of the global impact of the fashion industry on people and the planet.”

Additional supporters of RCGD are actors Lily Cole (The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Snow White and the Huntsman, The Zero Theorem), Missi Pyle (Gone Girl, Inside Amy Schumer, Two and a Half Men), Olga Kurylenko (Magic City, A Perfect Day), Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin, The Mentalist), Jake McDorman (American Sniper, The Newsroom) and BAFTA nominee Naomie Harris (Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, Spectre, Skyfall).
